RM23H9G170212 383 V8 Automatic Transmission Two Owner Car Current Ownership since 1976 Complete Restoration in 2016 to a Very High Example Acquired in 1976, this Roadrunner has benefited greatly from single family ownership ever since.
The car was driven almost daily up until 2005 when the car was placed in storage.
In January of 2016, following the passing of the owners wife, an extensive rotisserie restoration was undertaken on the car.
With the availability and preservation of the original build sheet, the car was restored very close to original.
The car was completely disassembled in Aberdeen, SD with all areas in need of attention being addressed.
Any body issues were professionally addressed and the car presents laser straight.
The Mose Green Paint and black vinyl top look excellent and the clear coat really makes the car stand out.
All brightwork was refurbished or replaced and really enhance the beauty of the car.
The entire rebuild can be viewed in pictures and records/receipts.
The car has seen approx.
1400 miles since the complete restoration and still shows exceptionally well.
The interior is a combination of original and new with new upholstery and carpet work performed by Ultimate Upholstery & Restoration in Aberdeen.
All components work and the interior is a true representation of a late 60s Plymouth Roadrunner.
Mechanically, the original 383 V8 was rebuilt and enhanced with a high lift cam and the engine sports a 4bbl carburetor.
The original three speed transmission was rebuilt to new specs and condition.
An aluminum radiator was installed for better cooling and the exhaust sound is enhanced through the dual 3 pipes and Magnaflow mufflers.
The only other modification to the drivetrain is the addition of an electric fuel pump.
The chassis components were rebuilt or replaced to original specs.
Drum brakes on the rear and disc brakes on the front provide the stopping power required of the strong 383 V8.
Attesting to the quality of the car and the build, this car placed in the top 2 for Mopars at a regional car event.
