Primary Responsibilities Work with a team to strategize and support stakeholder and public outreach related to infrastructure improvement projects.
Write copy for communication pieces, including key messages, media releases, social media, project materials, and video scripts.
Coordinate logistics for formal and informal public meetings, hearings, open houses, workshops, advisory committees or other stakeholder meetings.
This includes assisting with external vendor management.
Research and develop project-specific outreach databases and schedules.
This includes identification of stakeholders and database management.
Coordinate production and distribution of outreach materials (newsletters, websites, handouts, presentations, advertisements, door hangers, press releases, and mailings) Manage production schedules in coordination with the visual communications team.
Travel to project locations (including overnight travel) to attend meetings, assist with meeting activities and provide summary documentation #LI-LA1QualificationsRequired Qualifications Associate degree in a closely related field, or combination of education and relevant experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Willingness to travel up to 30% of time Service- and client-oriented personality with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and meet set deadlines Self-starter who can work well independently or in a team environment Experience using social networking/social media programs Attention to detail An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum of three (3) years strategic communications, public involvement, or community engagement experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills; portfolio that demonstrates experience and ability.
Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and meet deadlines Strong writing skills in both short and long form writing, with potential to train for grant writing Proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams) Ability to work in-person and with remote teams Experience with equity-centered community and stakeholder engagement Preference given to local candidates Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
